"Hogeye Site" Blade
This was a personal screen find at the "Hogeye Site" by me last summer.
The material is a light gray Edwards Chert that has a tannish patina on one side.
As with any screen dig you may get 20 some odd table loads that may have nothing, then get a screamer or a prize. Sometimes more than one. This was on the last table of the day for me. This load also delivered a broken Scottsbluff knife base that was over 4 inches long. So, this blade had good ancient company in the matrix that it came out of.
